A modern twist on Jane Austen’s Emma, the story follows Cher Horowitz, the effortlessly stylish and endlessly confident queen bee of Beverly Hills High. Known for her matchmaking skills, Cher takes on her most ambitious project yet — transforming her new friend Tai and helping her find the perfect match. But when Cher’s perfectly curated world starts to unravel, she discovers that life — and love — aren’t always so easy to control.

Featuring a book by Amy Heckerling, the original writer-director of the film, an original score by KT Tunstall, and lyrics by Glenn Slater, the production is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh with choreography by Lizzi Gee.
